Abington Stress Management Center |
The stress management website, currently in its testing stage, is devoted to strengthening individuals in their battle to protect their health and piece of mind in the face of an ever-increasingly stressful world. The partnership provides services to organizations looking to develop health information products in the area of stress management. The site is designed to provide stress management tools and to increase public awareness of stress.
It currently provides information for awareness of stress issues and experimental areas based on stress-reduction techniques. In the future it will provide doctors and patients with the tools necessary to monitor stress levels over the Internet. Biofeedback-driven software will be used to help control the patient's stress-level via this system. It will be most useful for patients or doctors in remote or underserved areas.
